The Association of Family Health Teams of Ontario (AFHTO) Bright Lights Awards are meant to recognize AFHTO members’ innovative efforts to improve the value of interdisciplinary primary care teams across Ontario.

This year for the AFHTO 2024 Bright Lights Awards the Aurora-Newmarket Family Health Team was nominated for two initiatives:

1. Streamlining Access: Improving Phone Wait Times and Online Booking with Patient-Driven Solutions
2. Growing Kindness and Nurturing Mental Health: A Gardening Group
